Anything is possible given enough time. I do not know of any on the road map specifically. The way our system works now it would be a bit tricky to pull off a full blown city / urban environment to look "proper". However, I believe it can be done. |

Dropships, drop uplinks. We won't use ladders a lot. However, we are trying to get support for something like "lifts". Or another means in general to get players to the tops of buildings. |

Yes. However, like ladders... I am concerned about players having to walk or climb up 1000's of meters of stairs or ladder rungs. =) |

The Research outpost has A medium socket that is a landing pad. Well two landing pads in it.
On the topic of not a lot of ladders. We are not entirely opposed to them of course. They are around in some areas. Probably not as much as some players like. We also have an unusual bug that occurs when a ladder is in a socket and in certain scenarios for unknown reasons the ladders will not function at all. The ladders that exist now are the ones that would always work for sure on the current maps. |

Is this an outpost/ socket we have in game or one that is soon to be released, I know of perhaps 1 socket with a landing pad and while that is a very nice structure it normally isn't worth risking my pilots ship to take, though that kind of outpost is exactly what I mean when I talk about developing a socket with verticality.
The outpost with a "medium support socket" is from the Research set coming out on Sept. 3rd. |

I would LOVE to see infantry deployable equipment that launches the player up 'x' meters to access higher structures. Would be great for Snipers and allow players to expand their options in assaulting sockets or even escape if need be.
